Members serve four year terms. Membership consists of a representative from each of the County's five election districts, one at-large County representative, and one representative from the Town of Pamplin.

Overview

The Planning Commission is a body formed with representation from the County and from the Town of Pamplin. The Planning Commission acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Supervisors and to the Pamplin Town Council on issues relating to the planning and development of the County and Town of Pamplin. The Commission also has the responsibility for developing and maintaining the Joint Comprehensive Plan as well as the Zoning and Subdivision Ordinances for the County and Pamplin.
