Virginia State Parks

Wolfbane Productions

Appomattox Bluegrass Concert Series 2018

Enjoy the Appomattox High School Band Booster Club Bluegrass Concert Series at the Appomattox County High School.  Performances are as follows:  Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver - February 11 at 2 p.m., Lonesome River Band - March 11 at 2 p.m., Joe Mullins & the Radio Ramblers - April 15 at 2 p.m., Gibson Brothers - April 29 at 2 p.m.  Tickets for each show are $20 in advance & $25 at the door.  For more information or to purchase tickets visit www.appomattoxbluegrass.com or call 434-660-7101.

1865 Foundation 6th Civil War Ball

Enjoy live music from the Farm Use String Band.  The Civil War Ball will be held in the ballroom at the Appomattox Inn & Suites Hotel on April 6, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.  The cost is $15.00.  For more information visit www.appomattox1865foundation.org

152nd Civil War Anniversary April 6-12, 2018

The Appomattox Court House National Historical Park & the American Civil War Museum, presents this special opportunity for visitors to commemorate the 153rd anniversary of the surrender of General Lee's Army of Northern Virginia at Appomattox Court House.  The National Park will present programs & demonstrations.  

Appomattox 2018 Friday Cheerz

Bring your lawn chair & enjoy live music & food from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in Abbitt Park located next to the Library.  Cheerz events will start in April 2018 & run through the summer.  Visit www.appomattoxchamber.org for more information & a list of the bands that will perform.
